Vakantie op Schiermonnikoog

Het was heerlijk, lekker lastminute uitwaaien op Schiermonnikoog. Wat een heerlijk eiland, prachtige natuur, lange stranden, golvende zee en lekker zonnig weer. Voor mijn kapsel echter funest, natuurlijke krul en net te kort om het vast te maken, het stond bijna rechtovereind ;-)

It was absolutely delightful, our last-minute trip to one of the Dutch West Frisian Islands, Schiermonnikoog. Beautiful scenery, nature, beaches and the weather was perfect, warm and sunny. But my hair (naturally curly and semi-short) was a disaster, like a constant bad hair day ;-) No lovely beachy curls for me.

In het dorp Schiermonnikoog zijn een aantal hele leuke winkels en er zijn veel fairtrade producten te koop. Buiten de winkel Fair met Flair (waar ook wol en andere brei- en haakbenodigdheden te koop waren) stond deze mooi versierde fiets.

There are lots of lovely small shops in the town of Schiermonnikoog and some of them sell beautiful fair trade products. I found this bike outside the shop Fair with Flair, isn't she a beauty.
